In this course, you'll move through the complete BAS project process and perform exercises to gain hands-on project management knowledge. Use real-world project documents in order to produce deliverables for your course project. By the end of the course, you will:

Understand project finances and how to effectively balance project finances, scope, and timeline
Know how to manage labor, material, and subcontractors within the scope of a project
Feel comfortable with the BAS Project Management process and know how to apply it to new construction and retrofit projects
Be able to create and manage successful project kickoff meetings
Know how to assess project documents to ensure that the project team has a clear understanding of project scope, risks, and timeline
Be able to submit and manage RFI's and RFC's for a project

I'm Phil Zito. I created Smart Buildings Academy, formerly Building Automation Monthly, in 2012 to share knowledge with fellow BAS professionals. I saw a gap in training was being done across the industry. I held various BAS roles at Johnson Controls including:
