We’re a fast-growing company and we’re adding another Corporate Account Executive to our team. This is a fully remote position with up to 20 percent paid travel to trade shows and key meetings. You’ll have the chance to grow your income and help shape the future of workforce development in building automation.

 

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: 75k

Commission: Unlimited

OTE: 132k year one, 168k year two

Role Overview:

You will build partnerships with building automation contractors, facility management teams, and system integrators. Your focus will be identifying training needs and selling SBA courses that support workforce development.

 

This role combines outbound prospecting with the responsibility of strengthening relationships with current partners. Success requires a hunter mindset, past experience growing revenue within existing accounts, and previous outside sales work. Candidates with a background in solution or service-based selling tend to thrive here.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through prospecting and closing activities
  • Manage the sales pipeline from first contact to final close
  • Respond quickly to all inbound leads
  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners and identify new revenue opportunities
  • Support the development and execution of strategic account plans and targeted campaigns
  • Collaborate with the SBA team to position our offerings effectively and win business
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partners and resolve issues promptly
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings for product updates, forecasting, and pipeline reviews
  • Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to drive sales and promote SBA
  • Provide recommendations for new courses based on market needs
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of SBA products to consult with customers confidently
  • Use HubSpot to manage pipeline activity and document all interactions
  • Complete additional responsibilities as needed

Experience:  

  • Direct sales experience (or recruiting) in commercial HVAC, security, fire, audio-visual, or building automation markets
